Bottle less water dispenser for your home or business How does a bottleless water dispenser work? Traditional water coolers use a bulky 3, 10 or 5 gallon jug that goes on top of a water dispenser stand. Point of use water cooler dispensers, on the other hand, don't use a bottle. Instead of using a jug that gets delivered or refilled like a pitcher, bottleless water machines tap into existing sink or water lines. This allows them to supply an endless flow of fresh filtered H2O. POU water systems utilize filters to provide clean refreshing water. Most direct line coolers purify the water with carbon filtration. Carbon filters use bits of carbon like charcoal that strains the water at a molecular level, removing impurities and chemicals. Unlike other companies, Avalon bottleless water coolers add a second phase of filtration. This second phase is a sediment filter which removes lead, rust, and bacteria.
