⚡️By booking an appointment with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with our policies outlined above. By adhering to these policies, we can ensure that all clients receive the best possible service while respecting the time and effort invested in each appointment. We understand that life can be unpredictable and while penalties are in place to ensure the smooth operation of our business, we also recognise individual circumstances. Whilst we strive to be flexible, understanding and maintain professional environment, penalties will be solely enforced at the discretion of Alternative Aesthetics management. ✨Alternative Aesthetics Policy✨ Our policies are designed to encourage a smooth and pleasant experience for all clients, from booking to aftercare. We aim to create a cozy and familial atmosphere while maintaining professionalism and fairness. ‼️Please note that by virtue of booking an appointment with Alternative Aesthetics, a client enters an agreement with the business to adhere to its policies and conditions for service. Any breach of the policies will be subject to the penalties detailed in the terms, below. ✨Booking Policy 1. All appointments for services including, but not limited to: cosmetic eyebrow tattoo; lash extensions; non-permanent brow enhancements; and laser tattoo removals, must be made online using our Goldie or Linktree booking platforms. 2. A non-refundable booking fee is required before an appointment can be approved, and will be applied towards the total cost of the service(s) provided.* 3. To secure an appointment, the booking fee must be paid in full at the time of booking. Failure to pay the booking fee within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the appointment slot.* Hold app for 48 hours without payment 4. The booking fee can be paid securely online through our payment system integrated with the Goldie or Linktree booking platform. ✨No-Show, Cancellation, and Reschedule Policy 1. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and, if so, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the appointment should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Clear communication is key. If you anticipate needing to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible, so that we may accommodate your needs while minimising disruptions to our schedule. 2. If you fail to show up for your appointment without notification during the 48-hour window period, the booking fee will be forfeited, and you will be required to pay the no-show fee and a new booking fee for any future appointments. 3. First-time clients who fail to show up for their appointment will be blocked from booking through the online platform and would need to pay the no-show fee. To book any further appointments the client would need to contact Alternative Aesthetics directly to schedule their next appointment, at the discretion of management. They will also be required to pay upfront for any treatments before booking again. 4. If you cancel your appointment within the 48-hour window period, the booking fee will be forfeited. For PMU clients who frequently cancel or reschedule, the client will be required to pay a no-show fee and to pay upfront for future appointments to secure the booking.* 5. If you reschedule your appointment within the 48-hour window period, the booking fee will be forfeited, and a new booking fee will be required to secure the new appointment. 6. In case of an emergency or unexpected circumstances, we encourage you to communicate with us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your situation and find a suitable solution. 7. If a client repeatedly no-shows or cancels appointments within the 48-hour window, we reserve the right to block them from booking future appointments with us. While we aim to accommodate our clients' needs, frequent rescheduling or cancellations may impact our ability to serve other clients.* ✨Refund Policy: 1. We would like to emphasise that our services are non-refundable, as they involve the use of time, expertise, and products that cannot be resold once utilised. We are, however, committed to providing constructive assistance and sound solutions in case of any issues or concerns. 2. For lash extensions, we strive to ensure your satisfaction before you leave the studio. If you experience any issues with the lash extensions, such as excessive fall out, please notify us within 48 hours of the treatment. We offer a complimentary fill within this timeframe to rectify any problems that may have occurred. 3. In the event that you have any concerns about the outcome of your lash extensions, it is essential to discuss them with your lash artist before leaving the studio. This enables us to address any issues promptly and find a suitable solution together. 4. For permanent makeup (PMU) brows, we highly encourage open communication and vocalizing any concerns you may have with your artist before the procedure begins. Once the PMU procedure is complete, you have two options if any issues arise. You can request a same-day emergency removal or trust the healing process, allowing us to correct any problem areas during subsequent appointments. 5. If you have any concerns or issues after your appointment, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We are committed to finding solutions that meet your expectations and ensure your overall satisfaction. 6. We value your input and collaboration as our client. We believe that the exchange of energy and effective communication play a significant role in achieving your desired results. Our utmost goal is to leave you feeling positive, satisfied, and radiant. ✨Late Arrival and Refusal of Service Policy: 1. We have a 15-minute grace period for all appointments. If you arrive later than the allocated time without prior communication, your appointment and booking fee will be forfeited. You will be required to reschedule for a new date and time. 2. Timeliness is crucial to ensure that all clients receive their full appointment duration and that our schedule runs smoothly. We kindly request that you arrive on time to respect the time of both our clients and our artists. 3. It is essential to arrive alone for your appointment due to insurance purposes. Only the individual receiving the service is allowed to be present in the treatment area. Extra guests pose a liability risk, and their presence can disrupt the smooth operation of our studio. 4. We have specific safety concerns regarding children in the studio. Please refrain from bringing children to the studio as it is not baby-proof or child-friendly. The presence of children can pose potential hazards, as there are various objects that may cause harm if accidentally knocked over. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Failure to comply may result in the cancellation of your appointment, and you will forfeit your booking fee. 5. Alternative Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who demonstrates inappropriate behavior before or during the scheduled appointment. This includes being rude to other clients or artists working in the studio. We strive to maintain a positive and respectful environment for everyone involved, and we expect the same level of courtesy from our clients. (*) subject to the nature of the client relationship as a ‘Long-standing client’. We highly value the loyalty of our ‘long-standing clients’. As a token of appreciation, our long-standing clients are afforded certain benefits and discounts at the discretion of Alternative Aesthetics management. We understand the importance of meaningful relationships, and we strive to treat our clients with the same respect and care they show us We value open and respectful communication, and believe that most issues can be resolved cordially by discussing them with our Alternative Aesthetics team.
