Policy and Terms for Alisha's Atelier Non-Refundable Retainer-All Services: A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all appointments. This amount is applied toward your service total. If you cancel for any reason, the retainer is forfeited to cover the reserved time. You may reschedule your appointment one time without losing your retainer, provided the change is made at least 48 hours before your original start time. Subsequent rescheduling or changes made with less than 48 hours' notice will require a new non-refundable retainer. For services over $150, I require 72 hours' notice to reschedule. For all other services, 48 hours is required. If notice is given within these windows, your retainer will be applied to your new date. If notice is given late, the retainer is forfeited. ​Rescheduled appointments must be completed within 30 days of the original date, or the retainer will expire. ​Retainers are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel rather than reschedule, the retainer is forfeit. Late Arrivals & No-Shows ​Late: Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened service or cancellation; the cancellation fee will apply. ​No-Show: No-call/no-shows will be charged 100% of the service total and may be restricted from future bookings. ​Fees: In the event of a late arrival that requires rescheduling, the full service fee will apply. ***Nail & Tan Coordination*** To ensure the best results for your glow, all nail services must be scheduled at least 24 hours BEFORE any Spray Tan service. Manicures/Pedicures involve oils and soaking that will interfere with tan development or strip fresh color. ​I cannot perform nail services on the same day as a tan. Nail Service Policies: Product Removal & Add-ons ​For accurate time management, product Removals must be selected as an add-on at the time of booking. If a removal is required but not scheduled, we may not have the necessary time to complete your full service, and your appointment may need to be modified. Repairs requested after the first 48 hours will incur a repair fee. Regular maintenance is required every 2–3 weeks, with a maximum of 3 weeks between visits. Appointments scheduled beyond 3 weeks will be treated as a new set, subject to additional charges due to extensive regrowth and increased service time. Fill-In Policy For quality, safety, and consistency, I do not offer fill-in services on work done by another nail technician. All clients with existing product from another tech will need to book a removal + new set. Pedicure Liability Disclaimer: By booking a pedicure, you acknowledge that services provided are cosmetic in nature. If you have ingrown toenails, infections, wounds, or other medical conditions, you understand that I am not responsible for any complications or adverse outcomes related to these conditions. Please consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns before your appointment. Clients must arrive with clean hands and free from infections or contraindications (such as fungus or open cuts). I reserve the right to refuse service if it may compromise the health of either party. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. Spray Tanning Service Policies: Spray tanning involves the application of a solution containing the active ingredient DHA (Dihydroxyacetone). DHA is generally considered safe and has been FDA‐approved only when guidelines for protecting mucous membranes are followed. When considering the application of DHA products by spraying or misting, please read over and agree to the following: Disposable, one time use items are available at each session for your comfort & safety. Everyone's skin is different, and while the ingredients used in this procedure are generally regarded as safe for cosmetic use, there may be instances where individuals are allergic to specific components in the spray tan solution. If you have known allergies, please read the ingredients list and discuss this with me (Alisha Sweaton) prior to your session. Be advised there is a small percentage of individuals may not react favorably to spray tanning. Therefore, I recommend not getting sprayed for the first time when your appearance is critical (e.g., wedding, special occasion, or prom). To ensure the best results, schedule a practice session 30 days before your event. Clients using tretinoin (Retin-A) should discontinue use 3 to 7 days before a spray tan to prevent patchy results and rapid fading, as retinoids accelerate skin cell turnover. Tretinoin causes increased exfoliation and dryness, which ruins the tan's longevity and evenness. Avoid, or expect fast fading, on areas where the medication is applied. Preparation: Prior to your spray tan session, exfoliate thoroughly using an oil‐free body wash, exfoliating face scrub, exfoliating body scrub, and exfoliating gloves (all availble for purchase). Avoid using oil scrubs or coffee scrubs as they create a barrier that can impede the tanning process. Shaving shouldbe done 24 hours before your session for optimal results. Do not use a razor with a moisturizing strip as this will leave a barrier on your skin that can impede the tanning process. Any other services youare getting should be done 24 hours ahead of your spray tan appointment (manicure, pedicure, etc.) Day of: When you arrive for your appointment, please wear loose‐fitting clothing (no leggings) and open‐toe shoes (flip‐flops or sandals). Inadequate preparation or attire may impact the results, and I cannot guarantee satisfaction in such cases. During your session: Women may undress to their comfort level. Disposable thongs, bras, and nipple covers are provided should you choose to use them. Men must wear shorts, boxers, underwear, or a bathing suit. If you are under 18, you are required to wear undergarments. Please be aware that you will have tan lines with whatever you decide to wear. Aftercare: To achieve optimal results, follow the recommended processing time for your spray tan. Avoid activities that cause perspiration, moisturizing your skin, or applying makeup until after your first rinse. You may notice the immediate bronzing color wash off during your initial shower; this is the color guide and does not affect the spray tan. Wait 24 hours before using soap or body wash and moisturize daily with sulfate‐free products specifically designed for spray tanning (available for purchase).  Caution: Pregnant or nursing women should consult their physician before using.  Warning: This product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin to UV light may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects on the skin, even if you do not burn. (Spray tan safe sunscreen products are available for purchase.) I have read this consent form carefully and am not aware of any medical conditions, allergies, or other reasons that would prohibit me from sunless tanning. I have received and understood the spray tan care instructions provided. While spray tan results typically last about 7‐10 days, I understand that individual results vary based on preparation, daily product use, activities, and skin type. To my knowledge, I have no medical condition or allergy that would prevent me from having this procedure. I have provided accurate information on this waiver and take sole responsibility for any reactions, staining of clothing, and personal belongings. For clients under the age of 18, a parent or guardian MUST be present at time of service. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. Client Acknowledgement & Agreement I understand that Alisha’s Atelier operates on a strict non-refundable retainer policy. I agree that by booking this appointment, I am entering into a service agreement. I acknowledge that I must provide at least 48 hours' notice (72 hours for services over $150) to reschedule without forfeiting my retainer. Furthermore, I understand that nail services must be completed 24 hours prior to spray tanning. I certify that I have read these terms in full and agree to be bound by them.
