By booking an appointment with Scissor & Fork, clients agree to the following terms. Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments without penalty up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee, the amount of which will be communicated at the time of the cancellation. All fees must be settled prior to the next appointment. Clients are encouraged to review these terms regularly. By continuing to use our services, clients acknowledge and accept any changes made. Scissor & Fork is such a gift of a space to the community. Wonderful space with wonderful, talented staff and stylists. I've been getting my haircut with Dylan for years now. Her haircuts grow out so nicely that we have collectively decided I can extend the time between visits (although I usually still book every 3 months simply because I want to come back to the space to hang out with her and everyone else). If you're thinking of checking out Scissor & Fork, do it. You'll be enchanted!

Karmen was extremely welcoming and did an amazing job on my daughter's hair. Extremely satisfied with the service, the atmosphere and coffee shop.

Great atmosphere! The coffee cafe is wonderful and the drinks and treats taste very good! My stylist Karmen is always pleasant and making my hair look and feel good, it’s my go-to place to get me right for the weekend!

Dylan was so kind and easy to talk to, and extremely consultative/collaborative on getting the best cut for my hair! Not only did she give me genuinely the best cut I've ever had, she took the time to teach me about how to style my hair properly with my natural waves and if I want to heat style. This was my first time, and it was awesome!

Dylan is not only talented but attentive, kind, and thorough. She gave me an amazing color and cut! She will continue to be my go to forever and ever. 

The barista staff were also super sweet and the coquito latte was fab.

I was a bit indecisive as to what I wanted coming in, but they gave some super helpful input and quickly helped me decide on a style I'd like. Dylan is a magician! She helped unlock my hair's full potential and gave me an amazing haircut. I never knew how wavy my hair actually was until today! I almost started crying when I saw it. I live in the neighborhood and made an appointment for a haircut on a whim. Mel was great, she listened and I immediately trusted her. The place is cute and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to check out the cafe and to get another cut!

The new hair salon and coffee place is so beautifully put together. Spacious and thoughtfully decorated with vintage pieces, it’s a great place to retreat and get some work done while sipping on a warm beverage. The hair salon is a 4 seat area and blends perfectly with the coffee shop vibe.  I’ll also add that Karmen is one of the best hair stylist in the city. Getting the best haircut at this little oasis is a double win!

Awesome cut by Nayeli. They took the time to walk through the style and any concerns first while talking through products and technique during styling; very thoughtful. Coffee was great! 

Where do I start, Dylan went above and beyond. She listen to what I needed and made suggestions and worked her magic. I can’t believe my hair looks beautiful! I felt so beautiful! Dylan took the time to explain to me the type of hair I have, I didn’t realize I had wavy hair, I always thought I had frizzy hair. She showed me how to style my hair. I’ve never felt pretty after a haircut and for the first time in 38 years I felt beautiful! I’m so so so so happy with my experience: thank You!

the space and ambience are amazing! i decided to brave the decision to have my hair professionally cut by a stylist, and dylan was just lovely. she’s incredibly knowledgeable, sharing helpful information about hair while taking great care with mine — and she’s so fun to chat with overall :) moving forward, i know i can trust her with my hair! the drink i ordered from the cafe was yummy too. i’m very excited and hopeful for scissor and fork’s future! 

Nayeli is a great conversationalist and easy to warm up to. She explains all her choices and gives suggestions if you don’t seem sure to make sure you leave happy

i will follow nayeli to the ends of the earth if i have to, they’ve been cutting my hair for the last three years and it was so exciting to see them at this new space. genuinely the coziest space i have ever been to with the kindest people ever—so happy such a space exists!

Everything about this space is amazing. Super easy to transit to, and I felt so relaxed the second I walked in. Mel is a genius with a razor and I love my haircut. I’m just so happy this place exists. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

My wife and I were lucky enough to follow our favorite hairstylist, Karmen, here. To have such an inviting, chill local salon open is already amazing - the fact that it’s also a cafe is a bonus! A space like this in our community is so needed. We’ll be back soon :)

Scissor & Fork is the best. The space is gorgeous, cozy and welcoming. Everyone is incredibly talented and kind. I get my hair done by Nayeli and she always does such an amazing job. She takes the time to really discuss what I want and somehow it looks better than I imagine every time. I love our conversations as well. So excited for more people to experience this place whether it’s to get their hair done or just grab some coffee.

I absolutely love this location. I will follow Mel anywhere, she knows my style, my hair, and just understands what true expression feels like when it comes to her craft. This space is so fitting for her and this community. I am obsessed with the culture Scissor and Fork promises. The atmosphere is very calming and quaint. Ashley was the first friendly face I saw, and the last on my way out, and she even brought me a delicious latte for the road. I am so excited to come back. Thank you S&F!!!

Dylan has been cutting my hair for a few years now - and she never disappoints! Curly hair is her specialty and I always come out glowing after a fresh cut in her chair. She truly listens to what you want and what your expectations are for your hair, she gives tips and advice, she's incredibly knowledgeable with such empathy. She's the best!

Karmen has been cutting my hair for a couple of years and I have never been disappointed! I have wavy hair and I tend to either go for a  bob or pixie. I had my first appointment during Sissor & Fork soft opening and it had such a cozy atmosphere. I'm excited to try the coffee at my next appointment. It's easy to get to with public transit and seemed to have lots of parking spaces for those who drive. 

Amazing experience! Nayeli is the best, they always do such a wonderful job and cut my hair exactly how I envision it. This salon is a gem and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. 10/10.

What a delightful new space! I was there for the day 1 soft open for an appointment with Karmen, who I was seeing as a stylist prior to her employment at Scissor & Fork. As per usual, Karmen was excellent and did a great job with my hair - she is THE curl specialist but also always down for alternative styling options. The space itself was beautiful and friendly. I'm looking forward to the cafe being fully open.
