👋🐾 Meet the Face Behind The Groom Saloon! 🐾👋 Hi friends! I’m Kasie — the owner and solo groomer here at The Groom Saloon, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those who are new around here! ✂️🐶  I started my grooming journey in 2009, after graduating from the PetSmart Grooming Academy, and I’ve been grooming ever since — over 16 years of experience with all kinds of pups, personalities, and styles! 🐾💇‍♀️  I’m originally from Montana and made the move to beautiful Arizona in 2019. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working at both Pet Headquarters and Wags Pet Resort in Prescott Valley, where I gained even more hands-on experience with amazing dogs and pet parents.  But my heart kept pulling me in a different direction — and that’s why I decided to open The Groom Saloon. I wanted to be closer to home and my kids, and to create a calm, one-on-one grooming experience where pets feel comfortable, cozy, and never rushed out the door.  My little shop was truly a labor of love — built from the ground up by my husband, who I’ve been married to for 7 years, and who made my dream a reality. 💛 We have two amazing kids, and I’m so grateful to be able to balance doing what I love while being there for my family. 📢🐾 Important Policy Reminder from The Groom Saloon 🐾📢

For the safety of both your pets and myself, I require written proof that your dog is up to date on their rabies vaccine before their appointment. Not only is this for safety — a rabies vaccine is also state law — but it’s essential protection in the event of a bite.

In the unfortunate event that I would need to seek medical attention for a dog bite, it is very important that the dog is up to date on vaccines. This ensures proper medical treatment can be given and helps protect everyone involved.

As a one-on-one grooming shop, I do not require Bordetella or Parvo vaccines, though I highly recommend them for your dog’s health and protection.

⚠️ If your dog does not have an updated rabies vaccine, I cannot take them in — this is for safety reasons, especially if a dog were to bite.

🐕 Bite Policy 🐕
If a dog does bite me and draw blood, I must cancel the groom immediately for my safety. I understand that stress or recent changes in a dog’s environment can impact their behavior, so I am willing to try again at a later date — once stress levels have settled — but with additional precautions in place.

🚫 I do not take aggressive dogs, as my focus is on providing a calm, safe, and positive grooming experience for every client.
