🗣I WANT TO BOOK A LESSON FOR SOMEONE ELSE SOOOO HOW DO I DO THAT?....

👤GREAT! If they are aware and on board with the idea of taking lessons then you may proceed. Put your name and relationship to the student in the message section of your request. Please reserve the actual lesson under the name of the person taking the lesson NOT your name NOR the name of your favorite stuffed animal as a child, Mr. Flufferton.

🗣WHAT IF I WANT TO LEARN MORE THEN ONE INSTRUMENT?....

👤If you have interest in learning multiple instruments, FIRST, reserve the primary instrument you want to learn, then list your other interest in the ADDITIONAL NOTES section of your request.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

🗣DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE THE LESSON EVERY TIME?....

👤No, if you want to reserve a set time weekly. Just book it once, talk to your instructor, and your lesson will be set to reoccurring weekly.

👤Yes, only if you want a different time each week or if you have an unpredictable schedule.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

🗣WHY WAS MY REQUEST DENIED?....

👤 Uh oh! 1 of 3 things happened.
1. technical error (darn computers)
2. Someone just beat you to it by a millisecond!
3. You selected more than one service. For example: if you accidentally selected 4 lessons for 60min the schedule thinks you are want to take 4 hours in one day. To prevent this select one service for one time. To schedule a different service you will need to repeat this step.

👤No problem. Just send us a text! We will do our best to make things work.

We just started introducing my son (first grade) to the drums and Ryan is such a good teacher. He was very patient and enthusiastic and did a great job connecting with my son, who can be shy. He answered all my questions and I like his approach of incorporating skills like learning to read music and rudiments but also keeping it fun and creative and a way to express themselves, whatever level they’re at. I met Julie too who was very nice and helpful.

My 7 year old son takes drum lessons here. Jaden is patient, encouraging. My son looks forward to his drum lessons every week and has made great progress.

It feels like we are right where we are supposed to be

My grandson Myles has begun taking drum lessons from Ryan McCarthy. Myles is 10 yo and it has been his “childhood dream” to learn to play the drums. He’s excited to be learning with Ryan.
Ryan is knowledgeable, patient, and makes the lessons interesting and fun. He’s an excellent teacher.

AMAZING TEACHER WITH GOOD PRICES AND ALWAYS MAKES ME SMILE

My teen daughter is usually very shy. So, she has avoided lessons because of it but she signed up once she met Julie. I have only the best things to say about Julie. She’s just so good with people and my daughter immediately felt comfortable. So far it’s going very well.

Julie is always willing to help with anything my daughter needs musically. She has helped her grow over the past 4 years. Thank you so much for being an amazing teacher and having a welcoming studio!!

My daughter Ellie has taken guitar lessons for several years. She has learned so much and has a great relationship with Julie. She looks forward to her lesson each week!

Blackbird has been wonderful to our musician. Julie has shown love and compassion. She’s gone above and beyond what’s expected from a music teacher. She’s been a positive role model and an encouragement. We feel both fortunate and thankful to have her in our corner. She’s a wonderful teacher and mentor. ❤️🎸🎤🎵🎼

A few unplanned surprises for our first lesson, but my daughter had a blast and can’t wait for her next lesson!

we love Black bird music, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!

I had an excellent experience with Benji. I got to meet the owner. She was quite friendly and answered all of my questions. Highly recommended for music lessons!

Juile is a great teacher, she helped to rebuild me musically after my last choir teacher messed up my voice, Juile helped my voice become stronger and more supported, I started being one pitch a lot more. I highly recommend blackbird music especially for its supportive environment along with it’s modern techniques.

Our daughter has been with Blackbird Music for years. We started with piano and after a few years, she wanted to try voice. Our son is now doing drums as well. The kids have learned so much and really appreciate how songs are chosen based on the needs of the student and not what’s “in the box.” You will not regret being with this studio!

Truly helps my daughter understand the science of singing!

Everly had a great time today and felt comfortable with Julie and is very excited to start her voice lessons! Super comfortable and open environment!

Had a great meeting with Julie today! Looking forward to starting the “hands on” guitar instruction very soon!

Fantastic first meeting and lesson with Julie! Looking forward to more!

Great Consultation!! You can feel the love of music! Can't wait to start lessons!

My consultation with Julie was an absolute delight. We bonded very well and I can't wait to see what the future has in store.

This is only my third lesson but I love it here! Julie is amazing and welcoming and I’ve already learned a lot in a very short time. She makes learning exciting.

Julie is very welcoming and fun. She explains things well and makes it a comfortable environment to sing and be yourself!

Great first few classes with miss Pamella. She understands how a child is to be thought, but also recognizing that she is not a baby.

Awesome first lesson at blackbird. LIV Lee is a great teacher, super down to earth and easy to talk to!!

We love Blackbird, Ms. Pamela is an incredible piano instructor and we couldn't be happier with our experience here!

AMAZING! helped me find my true voice and piano abilities. <3 10/10

Julie is an amazing music teacher. I love the way she connects with my daughter and meets her where she is in her musical journey. ❤️❤️❤️

We had a great consultation with Mrs. Julie! She made my child feel comfortable in a new place starting a new experience. My daughter left feeling very excited to start singing with Julie :)
