Welcome to Aaliyah Braids Thank you for choosing Aaliyah Braids. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. All contact details can be found below and on the Contact page. A wash and blow dry is included in all services. You are welcome to arrive with this already done to reduce appointment time however, no price reduction will apply as this service is not charged separately. Appointments Next day appointments are available if booked before 5:30pm the day prior, message me on Instagram for a next day appointment. Females only ages 11+ Important Health Notice Due To The Meningitis Outbreak To protect the health and safety of all clients, please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, I kindly ask that you reschedule in advance where possible. If you have a cold or flu and still wish to attend, you are required to wear a face covering upon arrival and whilst you’re in the building. If you arrive showing signs of significant illness, your appointment will be cancelled on the spot, please be aware that the booking fees are non refundable in these circumstances. As all services involve close contact and I see multiple clients and colleagues each day, these measures are essential to help prevent the spread of illness and keep everyone safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Hair Information/ Requirements Hair is provided only for styles using French Curl braiding hair and Boho Braids. If you require any other colours for boho braids please let me know before booking so I can check the stock for the colour, if you would like to bring the hair needed these must be dropped off 1–3 days before your appointment. If your appointment is cancelled, hair must be collected. For all other styles, hair must be provided by the client hair needed is on the services. If I purchase hair on your behalf and the appointment does not go ahead, the hair must still be collected. No refunds will be issued. Colour mixing braiding hair is not offered, please keep this in mind when booking. Hair requirements Please ensure you bring the correct hair for your appointment: Braiding Hair: Ezbraid, Smart Braid, Kuknus, or Kali Quick Braid (Pre-Stretched only) Goddess curls: Jazzy, Kali, Baha Brazilian Deep wave curls or human hair curls (22-24 inch) Details on the number of braiding hair bundles and curl bundles required are provided in the service description when booking. Photos and/or videos will be taken upon completion of the service for attendance records and content. By booking an appointment with me, you give consent for this content to be taken and shared on my social media and other platforms. For hijabi clients, photos will be taken for attendance purposes only and will not be posted online. Booking an appointment confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. BOOKING FEE AND PAYMENT A Non refundable booking fee of £95 is taken when booking, a platform fee is also taken whilst taking the deposit and final payment. This covers admin, appointment allocation and all preparatory work carried out before the service takes place. You are unable to get the booking fee back unless the appointment is cancelled by myself e.g I cannot attend. The remaining cost is to be paid on the day of your appointment while in the building, you can find the payment link on your confirmation text Please note legal action will be taken if there is a problem regarding payment. APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you expect to be late, you must notify me in advance. If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment may be cancelled, depending on the schedule. If you are more than 15 minutes late and I am still able to proceed, a £20 late fee will apply due to significant disruption to the schedule. If cancelled, your booking fee will be forfeited, and another booking fee will be required to rebook. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING AND NO SHOWS You may reschedule once using the same deposit if notice is given up to 48 hours before your appointment. The rescheduled appointment must be within one month. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made past the 48 hours of the appointment date will result in loss of booking fee and a new booking fee will be required to book again. Next day appointments that need to be rescheduled will require a new booking fee. No shows (failure to attend without notice on the day) or two cancellations will result in loss of booking privileges. This is to remain fair to other clients who could have taken the appointment. PERSONAL BELONGINGS Clients are responsible for all personal items brought to their appointment. Any belongings left behind must be retrieved by the client. The business is not responsible for items that are lost or misplaced. PLUS ONES To ensure a calm and comfortable environment, I kindly ask that clients attend their appointments alone. At this time, no plus ones are permitted. Any additional guests will be asked to wait upstairs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We will plan the perfect braid install for you, this session helps ensure your appointment runs smoothly and your final look is exactly what you want. Please note: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your consultation. All consultation payments are non-refundable.

Want to remove your braids but don’t want to do it yourself? This is the perfect option for you! You will receive a takedown, a wash and blow dry and a final look. As we are all for healthy hair the styles don’t involve gel as your hair needs to breath. The styles are 2-8 cornrows or curls out (with hair products) Please note for small and extra small braids a £20 extra fee is taken, if you are unaware of the size please message me on instagram to confirm the price. If you do not do this and the braids are smaller than what you have booked for the extra £20 will be added to the price.
