Here at Hannas Hounds I take extra time to make a special bond with your furry friend to ensure a stress and fear free experience on their one-to-one grooming experience. If your dog is nervous, worried or had a bad grooming experience in the past I will take the time, love and the patience to make sure your dog leaves with a much more positive experience and enjoy their time with me. I will take whatever time is needed to ensure your dog is happy and feels safe when in my care. 

Earlier morning appointments, Evening, Saturday and Sunday appointments available upon request. WhatsApp message me for availability.

Clients can cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before start time. Failure to do so will mean the full appointment fee will be payable.

Terms and Conditions about Fleas and Matting:

Fleas:
I do not knowingly accept dogs with fleas. If fleas are found on your dog, the groom may be stopped. An additional £10 charge will be added to the cost of your groom - this is to cover the expense of the products that I will need to use to flea treat the salon. Please check your dog(s) for fleas before your appointment. If you find fleas - please text message or call to reschedule. Please give over 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation charge.

Matting:
Under the Animal Welfare Act (2006), it is offence to cause unnecessary suffering to an animal: this includes prolonged “de-matting” which is painful & affects the welfare of the dog. If you bring your dog and it is severely matted or matted in multiple places, I am required by the Act to clip your dog short. Matting can cause serious health complications if left and can cause great discomfort to your dog therefore shaving the coat is the kindest solution for your dogs welfare. Removing matting can be lengthy and can cause damage to equipment, therefore a matting fee will be charged. With home maintenance and regular grooming appointments we can prevent the matting for your dogs coat.

Hanna

This service includes a bath, dry, brush, a full cut of the owners choice, nail clipping and ear cleaning.

Full groom

The de-shedding process involves a bath then thorough brushing using de-shedding tools that reach beneath the topcoat, capturing loose fur.

De-shedding

This process involves a bath and blow-dry. The tidy aspect includes a scissor tidy around the face, eyes, ears and paws, nail clipping and ear cleaning.

Starting early will help familiarise puppies being away from home, the grooming tools and salon equipment, such as the bath, dryers, brushing, nail clipping and ear cleaning.
