Founded by self-taught hairstylist, Shakiat, Styledbyshaki is more than just a place to get your hair done—it's a haven for creativity and personal expression. Shakiat’s journey began in 2023, fuelled by a deep love for Styling and installing wigs and a commitment to making every client feel beautiful and confident.

Shakiat discovered her passion for hairstyling during her teenage years, experimenting with braids, curls, and cuts on friends and family. Over the years, this hobby blossomed into a heartfelt vocation. Shakiat’s dedication to mastering her craft through endless practice and research, has turned her into a go to in Carlow's Wig hairstyling community.

To secure your booking. Please Dm me once you have booked through the link with the date and time and my full address will be provided.

Deposits:
A €10 non-refundable deposit is required  to make sure your appointment is secured.

Deposits are non-refundable in case of cancellation or no-show. So full refunds are not possible. However, if you reschedule your appointment using the link provided, your deposit will be automatically transferred to your rescheduled booking.

Late Policy:
> Please ensure your hair is with me at least 3 days before your appointment to avoid an extra charge of €10

> If by any means you need to cancel your appointment let me know at least 24hours beforehand or 50% of your appointment balance will be required (failure to pay this will get you blacklisted).

> If you are running late don’t worry i understand we all have them days that is why i have a grace period of 15mins after that an additional fee of €10 will be charged and if you are more than 30mins late your appointment will be cancelled.

Drop Off:
This includes new wigs and reinstalls!
Hair should be dropped off at least 3-5 days   before your appointment (This does not include day of appointment) any later a €10 fee will be added to your appointment.
Include: > Name
                  > Appointment date and time.

Emergency Appointments:
Appointments before 9:30am and after 6pm are an additional €15 as these are considered emergency/out of hours appointments. 

Travel:
Appointments that require me to travel anywhere in Carlow are €15. And appointments that require me to travel anywhere outside of Carlow are €30.
