My wife and I are both ski patrollers as well as PSIA instructors. We are in ski boots all day many days each season and cannot be bothered with foot or boot issues. I'm a ski instructor with 30+ years of instructing.  To maximize my comfort and preformance I have had my boots aligned and fitted by pros for most of those 30+ years.  Most of those Boot Fitters have been good, but  Greg Hofmann is the best I have ever used.

Greg is the ultimate professional. His work is first class and his experience top notch. He diagnosed the issue right away and was able to fix the problem efficiently and effectively. 

Greg was personable, knowledgeable, and fun to chat with.  He identified the root cause of the developing 6th toe on my right foot as lack of mobility in that metatarsal (from an old snowboard injury) and mitigated that issue with the orthotic.  I've been using Superfeet insoles for years, which are much better than the stock insoles, but the improvements in comfort and performance I'm experiencing with Greg's custom orthotics is an order of magnitude better.  Highly recommend.

Time flew by with Greg listening to my requests and answering questions to improve my boot fit and alignment.  Greg knows many coaches I know across the USA which offered me relief since this was first meeting with Greg.  I brought in existing liners and boots for comparison.  New liners were too full of foam...existing liners fit much better.  We reviewed some physiological issues and made decisions based on my inputs.  I like the fact that Greg used heat and Dremel tool to customize

Today,  I was able to wear my new “custom” boots and absolutely love them. We were busy in patrol and I was able to easily transition from the slope to the clinic and stand and walk in my boots for long periods of time without my feet cramping or going numb. Greg is great. Helped me understand why I have had problems getting comfortable boots over the year.  One of the best investments in skiing I've ever made.  
No upselling or anything like that going on.  I was planning to buy boots next year, but was so pleased with the options Greg laid out that I walked out with a new pair.

Greg Hoffman is the best!  I came in with new boots that didn’t work, he found the best boots for me and adapted them for my issues including high insteps.

Greg helped a lot for my first ski boot fitting, having been told for years that I had "low volume" feet I really wanted someone who I thought would be an expert should I have unique fitting needs.  Greg gave me the knowledge and help I needed to get the pair of boots that work best for me with some slight fitting modifications that I don't know if a shop in my local area would have provided.  He was worth the drive to his shop for the peace of mind and expertise.

So far the boots feel good… I’m glad I had it done… Greg does good work… Kind of ironic he says I talk too much cause I’m from New York… He’s from New Jersey… He should’ve listened a little more… I told him about my cold feet and heated socks… He should’ve done the upsell… I found out my boots were available heated version… I would’ve bought those

I have had many issues in the past even with getting athletic shoes to not hurt due to my foot issues.  Ski boots would be even more difficult.   After 1ski run they would hurt.  After spending the session with Greg and getting fitted, I went skiing that day and had virtually no pain after many runs.  We drove over 5 hours to see him, and it was honestly well worth it.  He truly knows his stuff, and we were glad to be referred to him. 

Greg is a legend!  I have had fitted boots in the past.  But they weren't even close to the level of fit and service that Greg provided.  After skiing on the boots for one day I reached back out and asked if he could punch the ankles a small bit.  Greg was very accomindating in making this happen the very next morning. I skied the remainder of that day and beyond without any issues.  So if you want a boot that will provide you the most comfort and power in your turns then look no further!

Tremendously positive experience with Greg. He took the whole two hours with me on boot selection and adjustments and insoles to help solve some knee and alignment issues. First day on the snow was night and day improvement in terms of comfort and performance. And he's a fun guy to talk to on top of all that.

Greg took care of the whole process in one visit. He did a physical exam, took measurements, and made a clay mold of my feet. He explained everything along the way. I left with boots, custom inserts, and boot modifications customized for me.

Greg is one of the top boot fitters in the world.  My partner and I have driven to Snowshoe from DC for two years to get our boots fitted with Greg.  I have challenging feet, and getting boots that do not hit my pressure points or cause cramping is hard. I spent 10 days at three different boot fitters in Tahoe, and no one could solve my feet issue. Greg looked at my feet like a podiatrist, identified the problem, recommended a boot, and made the adjustments so that I could ski pain-free!
