Sailors & Scoundrels Tattoo is an award winning tattoo and piercing studio located on the main street of Newtownards. Established in 2019 by Senior Tattoo Artist Louise Franklin, the studio is now home to a team of talented female and male tattoo artists, as well as a female body piercing specialist. Specializing in custom pieces, black and grey, anime, color, and ornamental styles, our artists can bring your vision to life. Our semi-private studio operates by appointment only, allowing us to provide a personalized and safe experience for our clients. Sailors & Scoundrels Tattoo

1. Non-refundable Deposit: The deposit should be non-refundable, as it secures the appointment and covers the artist's time, especially if the client cancels last minute. This is a standard practice to ensure artists aren't left with empty time slots.

2. Cancellation Notice: Clients should be required to give a certain amount of notice if they need to cancel or reschedule. A typical time frame is 48 to 72 hours before the appointment. This should give the artist enough time to fill the spot.

3. Rescheduling: We allow rescheduling, but the deposit could be forfeited if the client cancels without proper notice. If rescheduled within a reasonable time frame (e.g., within 1-2 weeks), the deposit can be transferred to the new appointment. 

4. Late Arrival or No Show: If a client is late beyond a certain time (e.g., 30 or more minutes) or doesn't show up at all, they could lose their deposit. It's important to clarify that this is to respect the artist's time.

5. Exceptions: Some artists may make exceptions for emergencies or extenuating circumstances. But this will be hamdled between the artist and client depending on the situation.

This policy helps protect the artist's time while maintaining fairness to the client.

I was in for the same piercing I have had 3x round due to me taking it out with impulse decisions and not being able to get it back in 🙈 I was still nervous and Laura made me feel so comfortable with a normal environment just like 2 friends chatting away !
