Parking & Key Drop
All MOT bookings require vehicles to be left on the street with the car key handed in at workshop.
Please ensure your vehicle is parked safely and securely.

Fuel & Engine Oil Levels
Before your MOT, make sure your car has sufficient fuel and engine oil.
Vehicles with low levels may be refused testing, as both are required by FAST FIT & MOT Centre to perform accurate emission tests.



MOT Retest Policy
	•	FREE Retest: Available only when repairs are carried out by FAST TYRES MOBILE & SERVICES.
• Free retest: If the vehicle is left at the test center for repair and retest, and does not leave, the retest is free.

• Partial fee: If you drive the vehicle for repairs at another garage but bring it back to the original test center within 10 working days, a partial fee will apply. This fee is typically up to half the original MOT price.

• Full fee: If the vehicle is taken to another garage for repairs and is then taken to a different test center, or if the original test center retest is more than 10 working days after the initial failure, the full MOT fee must be paid again. 

Important considerations

*Expired MOT: You cannot drive with an expired MOT, except to a pre-booked retest or repair appointment.

• Time limit: The retest must be completed within 10 working days to be eligible for a partial or free retest. If the 21-day application period has passed, a full fee is needed (based on one source, although this may be country-specific). 

* Personal Belongings
All personal items are left at your own discretion.
FAST FIT recommends that you remove the following from your vehicle before leaving it:

	•	House keys
	•	Passes
