Coach Paul Tobin has recently returned to South Florida after spending the past 11 years coaching the men's tennis program at Penn State University. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in leading the Nittany Lions to five NCAA tournament appearances, achieving top 25 Division I rankings and ranking in the top 3 of the Big Ten conference. Coach Tobin has extensive coaching experience which includes assignments at notable institutions such as Port Washington Tennis Academy, Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, IMG Bollettieri Academy, Roslyn Racquet Club, Syosset Tennis Academy, Weston Tennis Center, Canongate Country Club, the City of Fort Lauderdale, Holiday Park, Delray Beach Tennis Center, and Gerulaitis Tennis Academy. Coach Tobin is rated an “Elite Coach” with the USPTA, a “Professional 1” rating with PTR, and a “Level 1” USTA High Performance Coach. Coach Tobin works with all levels and specializes in technical development.
