Dog Information

The salon is based on a peaceful farm with a charming on-site bistro, offering a truly calm and relaxed grooming experience. I specialise in 1–1 grooming sessions, ideal for nervous or anxious dogs who need extra time, patience, and understanding. There are no busy salon environments, no cages, and no overlapping appointments — just a tranquil, countryside setting where your dog can feel safe and secure. With open space, fresh air, and a slower pace of care, I focus on building trust and providing gentle, stress-free grooming tailored to each individual dog. While your dog is being pampered, you can even enjoy a coffee or lunch at J's bistro — turning grooming day into a peaceful experience for you too.

Levels Dog Groomers – Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Levels Dog Groomers, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Health & Welfare

Owners must ensure their dog is fit, healthy, and suitable for grooming. Grooming may reveal underlying health conditions, and Levels Dog Groomers cannot be held responsible for pre-existing conditions that become apparent during or after grooming.

For the safety of your dog, I cannot groom dogs that are:

* Pregnant
* Nursing puppies
* In season

Please let me know before your appointment if this applies.

Dogs with active ear infections, open wounds, contagious skin conditions, or other untreated health concerns cannot be groomed until cleared by a vet. Ongoing conditions that have been approved by your vet are accepted.

If I believe your dog requires urgent veterinary treatment while in my care, I will attempt to contact you immediately. If I cannot reach you, I reserve the right to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf.

* Owners are responsible for veterinary costs relating to pre-existing or medical conditions.
* If an injury is caused directly by my negligence, I will cover the associated veterinary costs.
* If an injury occurs due to circumstances outside my control (such as sudden movements, severe matting, or an unexpected medical episode), I will assist towards veterinary costs where appropriate.

Owner Responsibilities

Owners must disclose any medical, behavioural, or physical conditions before grooming. Failure to do so may result in refusal of service.

Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is up to date with flea prevention, worming, and vaccinations before attending appointments.

Please inform me of any changes to your dog’s health or your contact details before each appointment.

Behaviour & Safety

If a dog becomes aggressive or cannot be safely groomed, I may stop the groom. Owners remain responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dog’s behaviour.

I do not administer sedation. I will only accept dogs given over-the-counter calming products or sedatives that do not require veterinary monitoring.

Appointments & Cancellations

* A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations will lose their deposit.
* No-shows will lose their deposit. If you choose to save your card details on file, a no-show fee of 50% of your appointment price will be charged to the card on file.
* Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
* Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being shortened, changed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
* Dogs must be collected at the agreed collection time. Dogs collected more than 15 minutes late may incur a £5 late collection fee.

Pricing

Prices are based on the information provided when booking.

If your dog’s breed, size, coat condition, temperament, or grooming requirements differ from those described, appointment length and price may change.

Grooming times are estimates and may vary depending on your dog’s needs.

Matting

Your dog’s welfare always comes first. If matting cannot be safely brushed out without causing pain or distress, I will clip the affected areas or clip off the whole coat depending on severity.

A de-matting fee of £5–£10 may apply depending on severity.

Removing heavily matted coats can reveal or cause skin irritation, small nicks, cuts, or temporary sensitivity. By proceeding with the groom, you acknowledge these risks and consent to mat removal where necessary.

Fleas

Dogs known to have fleas should not attend appointments.

If fleas are found during grooming:

* A mandatory flea bath (£10)will be given.
* Severe infestations may result in the groom being stopped.
* Additional cleaning charges may apply if extensive salon sanitisation is required.

Photos & Social Media

I may take photographs or videos of your dog for records, training, or promotional purposes. No personal information or your dog’s name will be shared.

If you do not wish your dog’s images to be used, please let me know before your appointment or opt out on the check-in form.

Worried Where To Take Oaklee For His First Proper Hair Cut Being A 😈Terrier That He Is But Erica Done An Amazing Job Bless Her Will Definitely Go Back If We Are Allowed 😂

Tilly's first time with Erica. She had long curly coat matted in part but came away looking amazing. Beautifully clipped and great attention to detail. Tilly was very happy and relaxed. Liked the fact that Erica only works with one dog at a time. Would definitely recommend her and have rebooked on the strength of the service and attention to detail .

We are very pleased with Ralph's first ever groom at the ripe old age of nearly 3. Erica did a great job as I suspect he was a bit grumpy at times during the appointment! He looks even more handsome than ever and he knows it! Thank you

Doug looks gorgeous after his first visit to Erica thank you

Excellent groom for my anxious and wriggly dog. Thank you

Took our very anxious Welsh Terrier to Levels Dog Care Groomer’s after a successful ‘meet & greet’ with Erica, the groom went better than we had hoped for & Erica managed to give our dog a lovely bath & a nice clip, it will be a slow process to achieve a full groom but Erica is very knowledgeable & professional, putting the dog’s welfare first for which we are very grateful & highly recommend her 🐾

Windsor looks great! A good experience all round. Thank you

Good stress free experience all round for Coco. She came out looking super clean and smart .
Would highly recommend!

I took my 2 year old miniature dachshund to Erica back in May for his first ever groom, and he’s just had his 4th! Erica always does an absolutely amazing job and my dog comes out looking and smelling gorgeous!😍 I was worried at how my dog would be for his first groom and Erica put me at ease instantly, reassuring me and even kept me updated throughout the first appointment!🫶🏽 I will be bringing Freddie to Erica for EVER, and recommending her to everybody! Thank you so so much xx

Dylan had his first groom today, Erica did an absolute fabulous job, he smells and looks great! Super pleased with it!
Dylan also came out a very happy and exciteable wirh his new look! Would highly recommend 10/10 !

Erica is calm and patient and understands dogs and their needs. My dog has had a lovely grooming and seems very happy with her. Thank you!

Bonnie had amazing first full groom today with all the works. Could not ask for anymore. The lady lovely Bonnie was happy settled and have already booked for next visit would highly recommend especially for that one to one experience if your dog shy and needs that little bit more. 5 stars

Guinness loves going and he comes out happy and clean, and smelling gorgeous!

As always exceptional service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dogs look great and Erica has done a sterling job, as always.
Thanks so much for the great work

So impressed with Ozzy’s groom! My little fidget was so happy when we collected him 💙

First time taking our 6 year old rescue dog to be groomed and we couldn’t be happier with how she looks. The whole experience is perfect for a anxious dog.

Our first visit and Erica was very welcoming. Our little rescue dog came out with lovely tidy paws and very relaxed. Thank you

First full groom and absolutely amazing experience. Have already booked the next one. Puts the dogs needs first, takes her time and is a joy to have met.

Another faultless visit to Erica. My girls go in looking an absolute shambles and come out looking and smelling like princesses. Thank you as always for putting my girls first and doing such a fabulous job xx

Having a very anxious dog it has always been a struggle to find places that would allow just one on one grooming....until now. I know I can drop my dog off and she will be loved and cared for as if she was the groomers own. The groom itself is always top notch and we feel we are listened to. Would highly recommend.

Excellent care. Bath, strip. Brilliant.
Thank you.

Excellent service. Luna is happy to go in and always looks so good after a wash and clip

Erica is amazing with Rosie the good at heart but anxious and a bit reactive cockapoo, so patient and kind to her though she must seriously test patience!!

Erica did wonders with Windsor today. Although he doesn't like being groomed much he came home looking and smelling great and not at all stressed.

Staff extremely, polite, Thankyou for a great job you did on grooming my dog Roly if anyone is looking for a very good groomer & who has patience with your fur babies.
I highly recommend to anyone.
Always pleased with the way Roly looks.

Thankyou so much for doing a Fantastic job Tracey & Roly

Took my Springer for a groom and cut today.
Really pleased with the cut and she was clearly well looked after.
Smells lovely too 😃
Definitely will be booking her in again !

Erica is great. Nellie came out looking & smelling amazing 🤩 Not that it will last long 😂

Our Bichon Ozzy had been to groomers since 12weeks, unfortunately after almost a year he got really nervy and wouldn't go (same place for 12months)
We gave him a break but his fur is quite difficult to keep under control, so we found Levels, his first time today and he was a little nervous, but by the end he was calm, happy, even giving kisses!! We really couldnt be happier, he did so well and he looks amazing!! We've found Ozzys new groomers!! Thank you :) 😀

Thank you so much for looking after Bertie so well. He really seems to have enjoyed himself and he looks and smells fantastic. We look forward to seeing you again.

Guinness came home beautifully clean and his coat looked and felt lovely.

As always a great hair cut for Blondie. Erica is so caring with the dogs and let's you know when they will be ready so you have time to get there. Highly recommend Erica

Daisy loved her spa session coming out looking beautiful. Thank you

Erica is always so welcoming, and also knowledgeable about best grooming advice for my dogs.
Thank you for fitting me in after what has been a trying week for you with the heatwave.

Another fantastic cut just how I wanted it by far the best Groomers I’ve taken my boy to

Allways available at short notice does a great job and great with the dog would highly recommend

Always friendly and a wonderfully pampered pooch 🐶🐶

Absolutely wonderful :) My Yorkie came out looking beautiful and most importantly she was relaxed and so happy ❤️

Very patient with our Puppy who is getting use to grooming, Erica is a lovely lady who listens to your requirements and puts the dogs first. I think we have found our regular groomer.

She was nervous and new to grooming as she isn’t a year old yet , but when I picked her up she looked . Smelt and appeared calm but ready to come home xx thank you

Highly recommend taking your dog here. Great friendly service and good with our dog.

Wow! My dog has only had one groomer all his life (4.5yrs) so he started of very unsure but with the confidence of the amazing groomer he was fine & came out sparkling from head to paw & all with in 1.5 hrs .. I was amazed as the old groomer took 3hrs!

So i highly recommend Levels Dog Care Groomers & I've booked in already for his regular grooms.

Thank you 😍

I’ve never had so many comments on how beautiful my dog looked after visiting Erica! I have recommended her to everyone. She was so gentle with my nervous pup and the groom was beautiful 🤩

Excellent service and Luna looks amazing

I have a very nervous Cockapoo who since we started using the groomers has felt right at home. Erica treats every dog as if they were her own and they come home looking fabulous and smelling delightful. So pleased we found you and such good value for money.

Excellent service. My boy looked stunning x

Thank you so much for grooming Murphy today. He looks amazing and we’re both so pleased. It’s the best he’s ever looked.

Always a beautiful pooch after grooming. Brilliant service.

We were very happy with our Coco’s groom at the Levels. Our dog is getting on in years and can be quite nervous but she didn’t seem stressed at all when we collected and she looked great!

Lovely haircut and very professional service. Will definitely use again!

Another great visit today. My dogs not the easiest at being quiet or still so I appreciate the patience and care given.

Excellent service, very friendly and knowledgeable. Genuine care taken of your dog. Would highly recommend Erica.

I have tried several groomers for my pooch, Erica is lovely and I feel like Daisy gets her full attention and care. Excellent service , Friendly and reasonably priced

Willow and Poppy went for their full pamper session today. They went in looking like scruffy little farm dogs and came out looking absolutely beautiful. They are anxious little dogs but Erica puts them at ease and does an amazing job. Our big German Shepherd is going to see Erica tomorrow - I can’t wait to see how gorgeous she will look 😬

This is the 2nd time I have used Levels Dog Care Groomers. Erica listens to what you would like done and actively acts on it. My dog is a bit of an unknown entity in that we don't know what breed she is, but she definitely has a Corgi bottom!!! Her fur has been cut back lovely and so has her tail. I would highly recommend Erica

Nellie came out looking and smelling fabulous. Definitely recommend and will use again!

First rate. Friendly, polite and professional. Our Lester looks great.

Erica did a brilliant job on Coopers pawsies for a nail trim . And he has super ticklish feet, and really doesn't like having them done but she's amazing and he was lovely and relaxed. Thank you so much😍

Erica was absolutely brilliant with my dog. She was patient, caring, and did a fantastic grooming job. My dog looked and smelled amazing afterwards. Would definitely recommend Erica to anyone looking for a great groomer

Will definitely be back! Cassi looked great and she was nice and relaxed when we collected her, which means she loved it too! Thank you. See you soon🐕😁

Excellent groom and service as usual, despite having a power cut . Erica completed Dennis perfectly and he was very happy, enough for a cuddle to say thank you

Lovely calm environment and our fur baby looked beautiful. Thank you 🐾🐶

Erica was brilliant with Aksel. His first visit to a groomer for a wash, dry and brush and he came out not only smelling delicious and clean but also just as jolly as when I left him! He'll certainly be back!

Excellent service very organised it be a pleasure to see you next thank you so much for looking after Jet he looks fantastic

Fantastic groomer- our boy came out looking so smart!

Can't thank you enough for bearing with and being kind but firm with our girl Rosie who is a total drama queen!

Wow just wow, we’ve got our 2 GSD Back from Erica and what an outstanding job she has done 👍
It was their first groom since they were born (2 yo in March )
They were both a little nervous to start with but her awesome skills calmed them and she befriended them both.
Would recommend Erica without a doubt 👏👏👏👏🐕🐕🐕🐕
