The salon is based on a peaceful farm with a charming on-site bistro, offering a truly calm and relaxed grooming experience.  I specialise in 1–1 grooming sessions, ideal for nervous or anxious dogs who need extra time, patience, and understanding. There are no busy salon environments, no cages, and no overlapping appointments — just a tranquil, countryside setting where your dog can feel safe and secure.  With open space, fresh air, and a slower pace of care, I focus on building trust and providing gentle, stress-free grooming tailored to each individual dog.  While your dog is being pampered, you can even enjoy a coffee or lunch at J's bistro — turning grooming day into a peaceful experience for you too.

By booking an appointment with Levels Dog Groomers, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Health & Welfare

Owners must ensure their dog is fit, healthy, and suitable for grooming. Grooming may reveal underlying health conditions, and Levels Dog Groomers cannot be held responsible for pre-existing conditions that become apparent during or after grooming.

For the safety of your dog, I cannot groom dogs that are:

* Pregnant
* Nursing puppies
* In season

Please let me know before your appointment if this applies.

Dogs with active ear infections, open wounds, contagious skin conditions, or other untreated health concerns cannot be groomed until cleared by a vet. Ongoing conditions that have been approved by your vet are accepted.

If I believe your dog requires urgent veterinary treatment while in my care, I will attempt to contact you immediately. If I cannot reach you, I reserve the right to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf.

* Owners are responsible for veterinary costs relating to pre-existing or medical conditions.
* If an injury is caused directly by my negligence, I will cover the associated veterinary costs.
* If an injury occurs due to circumstances outside my control (such as sudden movements, severe matting, or an unexpected medical episode), I will assist towards veterinary costs where appropriate.

Owner Responsibilities

Owners must disclose any medical, behavioural, or physical conditions before grooming. Failure to do so may result in refusal of service.

Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is up to date with flea prevention, worming, and vaccinations before attending appointments.

Please inform me of any changes to your dog’s health or your contact details before each appointment.

Behaviour & Safety

If a dog becomes aggressive or cannot be safely groomed, I may stop the groom. Owners remain responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dog’s behaviour.

I do not administer sedation. I will only accept dogs given over-the-counter calming products or sedatives that do not require veterinary monitoring.

Appointments & Cancellations

* A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations will lose their deposit.
* No-shows will lose their deposit and repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
* Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being shortened, changed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
* Dogs must be collected at the agreed collection time. Dogs collected more than 15 minutes late may incur a £5 late collection fee.

Pricing

Prices are based on the information provided when booking.

If your dog’s breed, size, coat condition, temperament, or grooming requirements differ from those described, appointment length and price may change.

Grooming times are estimates and may vary depending on your dog’s needs.

Matting

Your dog’s welfare always comes first. If matting cannot be safely brushed out without causing pain or distress, I will clip the affected areas or clip off the whole coat depending on severity.

A de-matting fee of £5–£10 may apply depending on severity.

Removing heavily matted coats can reveal or cause skin irritation, small nicks, cuts, or temporary sensitivity. By proceeding with the groom, you acknowledge these risks and consent to mat removal where necessary.

Fleas

Dogs known to have fleas should not attend appointments.

If fleas are found during grooming:

* A mandatory flea bath (£10)will be given.
* Severe infestations may result in the groom being stopped.
* Additional cleaning charges may apply if extensive salon sanitisation is required.

Photos & Social Media

I may take photographs or videos of your dog for records, training, or promotional purposes. No personal information or your dog’s name will be shared.

If you do not wish your dog’s images to be used, please let me know before your appointment or opt out on the check-in form.

Having a very anxious dog it has always been a struggle to find places that would allow just one on one grooming....until now. Our Bichon Ozzy had been to groomers since 12weeks, unfortunately after almost a year he got really nervy and wouldn't go (same place for 12months) 
We gave him a break but his fur is quite difficult to keep under control, so we found Levels, his first time today and he was a little nervous, but by the end he was calm, happy, even giving kisses!! We really couldnt be happier, he did so well and he looks amazing!! We've found Ozzys new groomers!! Thank you :) 😀

Wow! My dog has only had one groomer all his life (4.5yrs) so he started of  very  unsure but with the confidence of the amazing groomer  he was fine & came out sparkling from head to paw  & all with in 1.5 hrs .. I was amazed as the old groomer took 3hrs!

Willow and Poppy went for their full pamper session today. They went in looking like scruffy little farm dogs and came out looking absolutely beautiful. They are anxious little dogs but Erica puts them at ease and does an amazing job. Our big German Shepherd is going to see Erica tomorrow - I can’t wait to see how gorgeous she will look 😬

This is the 2nd time I have used Levels Dog Care Groomers.  Erica listens to what you would like done and actively acts on it. My dog is a bit of an unknown entity in that we don't know what breed she is, but she definitely has a Corgi bottom!!!  Her fur has been cut back lovely and so has her tail.  I would highly recommend Erica
