“Another great groom for our Golden Retriever, Bella, who can be quite timid at times. Rosie was sensitive to her needs, patient with her and kept me informed during the groom. Bella came out looking and smelling gorgeous! Thank you Rosie, we will be back ”

Policy and Terms
Listed below are the Terms & Conditions of Rosie’s Barking Beauties. By booking an appointment with us and ticking the consent box at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms & Conditions. You also release the salon from liability for any medical issues that may arise during or after grooming. If veterinary care is required during or after the services, you agree to cover all fees. Dog Safety & Welfare: Your dog’s comfort and wellbeing are always our top priority. Grooming can be stressful for some dogs, especially with new people or handling. If at any point your dog becomes too anxious, stressed, or unwell during the groom, we may need to stop the service for their welfare. We will let you know immediately and discuss the next steps. • Fees for partially completed grooms are calculated based on the time and work completed. • The full grooming fee may still apply if most of the service has been completed. ⸻ Health Conditions & Behaviour: It’s important that you let us know about any health conditions, skin issues, allergies, injuries, or behavioural concerns before your appointment. By booking, you also confirm that your dog is fit and healthy to be groomed. For the safety of your dog and our team, we may use safe, industry-standard restraints or muzzles when necessary. Senior dogs may have a slightly higher risk of injury, and while we take every care, we cannot be held responsible for injuries or accidents that occur despite this. We also cannot be held responsible for existing conditions that are aggravated or made apparent during or after grooming. ⸻ Vaccinations & Parasites All dogs must be up to date with their core vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments before attending. If fleas are found on arrival, we may need to refuse service to protect other dogs and the salon. If fleas are discovered during grooming, your dog will be bathed in flea shampoo. We may also refuse service to any dog showing signs of infestation or infection. A £15 charge may apply to cover the cost of disinfecting our salon and grooming tools. ⸻ Clip Off / Shave Down If your dog arrives with a matted coat, we will assess the situation and discuss the safest grooming option with you before starting. Heavy matting can cause discomfort, restrict blood circulation, and irritate the skin, so brushing it out/de-matting can be painful. De-matting is not carried out due to the pain the process causes. Where necessary, a full or partial clip off or shave down may be performed to remove mats humanely. Minor nicks, clipper irritation, or redness may occur during shave-downs due to the dog’s coat and skin condition. • We cannot be held responsible for any minor clipper irritation or redness caused by shave-downs, as this is sometimes unavoidable. • Matting fees, depending on severity and extra time required, will always be discussed and agreed with you before grooming begins. • By booking, you consent to a shave-down if it’s in your dog’s best interest. ⸻ Accidents We take every care to groom your dog safely, gently, and professionally. Grooming involves working with a live animal and sharp tools, so while incidents are extremely rare, minor nicks, clipper irritation, or reactions to products can occasionally happen. • If this occurs, we will apply appropriate first aid and let you know immediately, along with advice for aftercare. ⸻ Cancellations, Arrivals & Collections: We understand that life can be unpredictable, but as grooming is our sole source of income, we ask for your help in managing our schedule. • 48 hours or more notice: No charge if you need to cancel or reschedule. • Less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the groom fee will apply. • No notice / no-show (failure to contact us before the appointment): 100% of the groom fee will be charged. Clients who do not pay for a missed appointment will not be able to rebook until the payment is received. Please arrive on time for your dog’s appointments Dogs arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled, and a missed appointment fee may apply. Dogs should be collected promptly after their groom. You will always be contacted approx 30 mins prior to collection to allow travel time. Late collections may incur a £5 per 15-minute holding fee unless previously agreed. ⸻ Payment Payment is due at the end of the appointment. We accept cash and card. Prices may vary depending on your dog’s coat condition, behaviour, and size. • For large or high-demand bookings, a deposit may be required, which will be deducted from the final price. ⸻ Photos & Social Media We may take photos of your dog for before-and-after shots, social media, and our portfolio. By booking, you give consent for these photos to be used. Please let us know if you’d prefer your dog not to be photographed. • Photos may be kept indefinitely unless you request deletion. ⸻ Data Protection We collect only the information needed to provide grooming safely, including your name, contact details, and your dog’s information. All data is stored securely and never shared with third parties, except where required by law. By booking, you consent to your information being used for appointment management, record keeping, and communication about your dog’s care. You may request a copy of your data or ask for it to be deleted at any time. ⸻ Agreement By booking an appointment with Rosie’s Barking Beauties, you confirm that all information provided about your dog is accurate, your dog is fit and healthy to be groomed, and you accept these Terms & Conditions.
