Coach William Woods brings elite-level experience, small-town grit, and a heart for mentorship to every lesson. A Trenton, Tennessee native, William rose from local standout at Peabody High School—where he earned All‑West Tennessee Pitcher of the Year honors—to making his Major League debut with the Atlanta Braves in 2022. Over a 7-year professional career with the Braves and Mets, he developed a deep understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest level. Now retired from pro ball and grounded in a mission to serve, Coach Woods is passionate about equipping young athletes with not only the mechanics of the game but the mindset to thrive in life. Whether you’re chasing a dream or just starting your journey, there’s no better guide than someone who’s walked the path.
