You are NOT using any soaps or detergents on the skin when you take this rinse. You can take a regular shower with soap once 24 hours has past. The rapid tan is an entirely different kind of solution than the regular and works differently. It absorbs quicker into the skin. It will look like you rinsed it all off but the tan will start to develop back on the skin. The rinse off time depends entirely on the desired color you are looking for. The general rule of thumb for rinse times is as follow: 2-3 hours for light to medium color 4-5 for medium to dark color 6 hours for darkest option *It is not recommended to leave this tan on without rinsing more than 6 hours.
