SALON POLICY: LATE ARRIVALS & NO SHOWS Deposits: • A $20 deposit is required before booking any appointment. • If paying by wire transfer, funds must be sent at least one business day in advance, unless it is a direct wire transfer. Late Arrivals • A 15 minute grace period is allowed. (Once client would have notified stylist) • After 20 minutes, a $10 late fee will be added to the service total. • After 30 minutes without communication, the appointment will be automatically cancelled. No service will be rendered, and any deposit paid will be forfeited. No Shows • A “no show” is defined as failing to attend an appointment without notice. • Deposits for no show appointments are non refundable. • After two no shows, clients may be required to prepay in full for future services. • Repeat no shows may result in permanent refusal of service. Rescheduling & Cancellations • Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel without penalty. • Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in loss of deposit or a cancellation fee. Purpose of Policy This policy ensures fairness to all clients and respect for the stylist’s time. It helps maintain smooth scheduling and quality service for everyone. Additional Services Not Booked in Advance: Unbooked Services • Clients are expected to book services accurately when making appointments. • If additional services are required at the time of appointment, they will be charged separately and may extend the appointment duration. Dirty Hair • Clients must arrive with clean, manageable hair unless a wash service was booked. • If hair is dirty, a mandatory wash service will be added at the standard rate before styling can begin. Wet Hair • Clients arriving with wet hair will incur an additional drying fee. • This is necessary to ensure proper styling and to avoid inconveniencing the next client whose appointment time is reserved. Impact on Scheduling • Unbooked services may cause delays and affect other clients’ reserved time slots. • To maintain fairness and efficiency, clients are encouraged to book all required services in advance.
