Studio X Hair Extensions

Studio X Hair Extension Policy

At Studio X, we are committed to delivering high-quality hair extension services using only premium salon-supplied hair. To ensure the best results and protect both your natural hair and your investment, please review and adhere to our extension policy:

1. Consultation & Booking
	•	A consultation is required before your first hair extension fitting. This can be done in-salon or online for your convenience.
	•	A non-refundable €50 deposit is required to secure all extension bookings. This deposit will be applied to your final balance.
	•	All cancellations result in loss of deposit, regardless of notice given.

2. Hair Supply & Payment
	•	Studio X exclusively uses salon-supplied hair only. We do not fit hair provided by clients.
	•	Once hair is ordered, it is non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes changes of mind, cancellations, or no-shows.
	•	Final payment is due on the day of the service.

3. Maintenance & Follow-Up
	•	We offer full maintenance services and recommend appointments every 6–8 weeks, depending on method and hair growth.
	•	Clients are responsible for scheduling maintenance to maintain hair health and extension longevity.

4. Aftercare Policy

To ensure the longevity and quality of your extensions, clients must follow all aftercare instructions:
	•	Use only salon-grade, sulphate-free products.
	•	Do not use protein-based products as these can dry out extension hair and lead to tangling or matting.
	•	Apply oil to your hair daily (mid-length to ends).
	•	Always plait your hair before bed to prevent tangling and breakage.
	•	Never sleep with wet hair — hair must be fully dried before bedtime.
	•	Avoid high heat; always use a heat protection spray when styling.
	•	Do not swim in chlorinated or salt water while wearing extensions.
	•	Avoid sunscreens with avobenzone/oxybenzone, which can discolor extensions.
	•	Do not dye or chemically treat the extensions.
	•	Always cover your hair when using sunbeds or while on holidays to protect against sun, salt, and heat exposure.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in damage, for which Studio X is not responsible.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows
	•	A non-refundable €50 deposit is required for all bookings and will be forfeited if the appointment is cancelled, regardless of notice period.
	•	All hair purchased is non-refundable, even if the client cancels or changes their mind.
	•	No-shows or late cancellations may result in the requirement to pay in full for future bookings.

6. Third-Party Services
	•	Once your extensions are maintained, removed, styled, or altered by another salon or stylist, Studio X is no longer responsible for their condition or performance.
	•	This includes styling, coloring, reapplication, or any professional work carried out elsewhere.
	•	Any complaints made following third-party handling will not be accepted.

7. Complaints
	•	Any concerns or issues must be reported to Studio X within 7 days of the service.
	•	We will always aim to resolve issues fairly and professionally. However, complaints made outside the 7-day window may not be eligible for review.
	•	Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, missed maintenance, or third-party interference.
	•	Studio X reserves the right to assess complaints based on service records and professional judgment.

8. Liability Acknowledgment

By proceeding with extension services at Studio X, clients acknowledge the risks involved and agree to follow all salon recommendations. Studio X is not liable for damage resulting from poor maintenance, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or third-party alterations.
