We have intentionally designed our studio to be a private, cozy oasis away from the chaos of larger, crowded salons. When you step into Modish Faces and Laces, the focus is entirely on you. Our small-space setup ensures:

 Total Privacy: Enjoy a dedicated, one-on-one session with your artist without the distraction of an audience.
 Meticulous Hygiene: A compact space means we maintain a sterile, ultra-clean environment between every single client.

 VIP Energy: Every appointment feels like a private backstage glam session, complete with tailored playlist vibes and undivided professional attention.

Modish Faces & Laces Studio Policies & Terms of Service

Welcome to Modish Faces & Laces! 
Because we operate out of an intimate, boutique studio space, we strictly enforce the following policies to ensure a private, relaxing, and hygienic experience for every client. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Deposits

 Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. This deposit will be applied toward your final balance.

 Payment Methods: The remaining balance is due at the time of service via  Cash, CashApp, NCB, JNB.

2. Spatial Restrictions (Strictly Enforced)

Because our studio is a cozy, limited-space environment, we must enforce the following rules to maintain safety and comfort:

 No Guests/Children: Only the client being serviced is permitted in the studio. We cannot accommodate friends, family, partners, or children in the waiting area.

 Arrive at Your Exact Time: Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early for your appointment, as we do not have a large waiting room and may still be sanitizing from the previous client.

3. Lateness & Cancellations

Time is our most valuable asset. If you are late, it directly impacts the next client.

 Grace Period: We offer a 10-minute grace period.

 Late Fee: Arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in a $500 late fee.

 Cancellations/No-Shows: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

 Rescheduling: You must reschedule at least 24-48 hours before your appointment to transfer your deposit to a new date (maximum of one transfer allowed).

4. Prep, Hygiene & Safety

 Clean Face Required: Please arrive with a completely clean, makeup-free face. If we have to spend time removing stubborn makeup or lash glue, it will cut into your application time.

Eyebrow Grooming Requirement: Clients must arrive with their eyebrows already shaved, waxed, or threaded. To maximize our time in makeup application. If you arrive with ungroomed brows, please note that it may impact the crispness and final look of your eye makeup, or a $500 fee may be added to groom brows.

 Sickness Policy: If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness (coughing, fever, runny nose, etc.) or have an active eye infection (like pink eye) or open facial cold sores, please do not book or come to your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone showing signs of illness to protect our space and subsequent clients.

 Allergies: Please inform your artist of any known skin allergies, sensitivities, or prescription topical medications (like Retin-A or Accutane) prior to your service.

5. Mobile & Media Release
 Phone Usage: To ensure a flawless and timely application, please refrain from heavy phone use (texting, taking calls) while in the makeup chair.

 Photos & Videos: We love capturing our work! By booking, you consent to Modish Faces & Laces taking photos/videos of your makeup application for promotional and social media use. If you prefer to opt out, just let us know before we start.
