By continuing to book your appointment you agree to the following terms: 1. Deposits: A 50% deposit will be taken to secure your appointment slot (Similar to booking a hotel room) You can do this via credit card and it will be deducted from your final total. This ensures clients will keep their appointments. If you cancel within the time window (at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment) and would NOT like to reschedule, your deposit will be refunded. 2. You may prepay for your appointments but payment is due no later than upon completion of services. You must make arrangements to leave payment somewhere I can access it if you do not plan to stay on location. Owners must be present for all first time appointments. 3. Any pictures taken by Kat's Dogs LLC. will be used on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok by completing the booking you give your consent for pictures to be taken and used, as well as acknowledging the pictures belong to Kat's Dogs LLC. If you do not want your pets pictures taken just let me know in advance of the appointment. 4. Medical Problems: Sometimes grooming can expose or exacerbate a hidden preexisting condition. Kat’s Dogs LLC. will always bring anything we may find to the owner’s attention. We cannot diagnose a condition, but may advise the owner to seek veterinary attention. We may not perform certain services if we feel it is a health hazard to the dog. (Ex. anal gland expression or teeth brushing) If your dog has any medical problems, Kat’s Dogs LLC needs to be made aware of them (i.e. seizures, arthritis, collapsing trachea, etc.) so that the groomer may take whatever steps needed to keep your dog comfortable and stress-free. If your dog becomes too stressed from the grooming process, we will stop immediately and the groom will be finished at whatever step we are at. Pricing if this happens will be determined. 4. Parasites: If fleas/ticks are found on your dog, it is our policy to automatically give a flea bath and there is an additional cost of $5 for small dogs, and $10 for large dogs, no fee if your booked for a flea bath. There is more involved for a flea treatment. If your dog is severely infested, (as in more than twenty), we will need to reschedule for a different time, after you get a preventative for your pet 5. Aggression: If your dog has any history of biting, Kat’s Dogs LLC requires notification of this. The possibility of biting will not affect whether we may try to groom your dog, but it can help prevent injury. If your dog has some behavior issues, Kat’s Dogs LLC will be happy to do what we can to help your dog work through them but there will be a special handling fee added on. If we deem your pet is aggressive to the point of hurting itself, the owner or the groomer, we will STOP at any point, and return the pet to you in the current condition, and you are responsible for the $30 travel fee (at minimum). If you do not disclose your dog’s bite history, and the groomer is bitten, You as the owner are responsible for any and all medical/hospitalization bills that may arise. If your pet damages any equipment, the cost of replacing that equipment will be added to your bill. I will always strive to keep myself, you, your pet and my equipment protected. 6. Bathing: Bathing and blow drying is a necessary part of grooming, and all grooming shops bathe their dogs before going home, as a clean pet leaves a smoother finish. Bathing is a process of the groom, and sometimes doing so can find hidden medical conditions because the groomer has their hands all over the dog at this point. You may give your dog a bath before we come (if you feel more comfortable, or if you feel the pet would do better) but we cannot guarantee the outcome of the groom. The groom will be the same price with or without a bath. We must insist that pets be bathed and 100% dry if you decide to bathe your pet yourself. Also While Kat's Dogs LLC does not have any weight restrictions, for every pet i require a bathtub or water hose outside, weather permitting, and space to maneuver my table and equipment. Kitchens, bathrooms, garages, porches are ideal workspaces after the bath, but I am willing to set up anywhere that’s safe and manageable. 7. For Alterations or adjustments, I will always ask how everything looks before i leave, but in the event you notice something out of place after services, I will return to your home at no charge within 48 hours. Anything beyond 48 hours I must take my equipment into consideration and will require them to have a bath to make adjustments. Any adjustments requested after a week will be considered a full service grooming appointment. 8. Puppies will be scheduled as a bath or Face, Feet, Fanny to acclimate them to the grooming process, being an in-home groomer I can start as young as 8 weeks old. 9. Cleanup: Being an in-home grooming salon, we try our best to leave your home as good as or better than we found it. We advise you to let us set up in a location where there is no carpeting, and where there is no direct fan or A/C blowing. 10. Matted Pets: If your dog is too matted to be brushed out, we will not subject your dog to dematting. It is painful, and can be traumatic to the dog. We will authorize a shave, either full coat or spot shaved, under your consent if we feel that is the best thing for your dog. We will be happy to give advice on brushing techniques. Shaving a pet can also reveal underlying medical problems, possibly parasites, sores or cause hematomas/bruising in areas such as the ears or tail. 11. Cancellations: Things happen and we understand schedules sometimes change. If you must cancel we ask that you give 48 hours’ notice. That way we can put another dog in your appointment slot. We require to have a credit card on file so if you do cancel, there will be a $30 per pet cancellation fee. Owners will be told by phone AND by email before we attempt to collect any fees. 12. No shows. If we arrive and find no one home you will be subject to a fee of $50 PER PET for loss of income. Habitual no shows may no longer be able to schedule future appointments
