By booking a service with Roxy Paws Grooming, you are agreeing to the following: 1. Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances.... The pet is fit and healthy enough to undergo grooming. Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health/skin conditions for which Roxy Paws Grooming cannot be held liable. The pet is free from fleas and parasites. Pets found with fleas may be bathed in a non-medicated flea shampoo and will incur an additional charge as it results in the salon having to close for flea-bombing. The pet's vaccinations are up to date unless otherwise discussed. In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorise Roxy Paws Grooming to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorise the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense. Payment is to be made at the time of service. Cash is not accepted. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and duration of the groom, however, the quoted cost may increase for reasons such as the dog is over the expected breed weight, excessive matting etc. Nail cutting and ear cleaning will only be carried out providing that they are not too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the pet or groomer. We do NOT offer anal gland expression as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian. “De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health/skin problems for which Roxy Paws Grooming cannot be held liable. Heavily matted dogs will be clipped off to prevent further suffering in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Customers are expected to drop-off and collect pets at the allocated appointment times. Customers collecting more than 15 minutes late may incur a late fee. Roxy Paws Grooming operates as an exlusive-use salon and late collections may impact subsequent appointments for that day. 2. Cancellations Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee. In the event of inclement weather, a family emergency, contagious pet illness or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer. 3. No-Shows It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule. A customer may be considered a "no-show" if they are more than 15 minutes late as it is unlikely that the groom will be able to be completed in the allocated appointment time. We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason. 4. Images Clients agree to images and/or videos of pets being used on the Roxy Paws Grooming website, Roxy Paws Grooming or for Roxy Paws Grooming advertising purposes. The name of the pet will not be displayed for security purposes.
