Removal - Electrolysis Thread Vein

Thread vein and blood spot removal using short wave diathermy. Short wave diathermy is a treatment used to lessen the visible appearance of thread veins and blood spots. I use a very fine probe to sit on the skin surface over the thread veins or blood spots and deliver a controlled electrical current to the treatment area. This heats the walls of the vein / spot, causing the walls to stick together and seal the vein or blood spot off from further blood flow. Over the course of a few weeks, the vein / spot disperses and is reabsorbed by the body, making it much less noticeable or completely disappeared. Thread veins or blood spots can be stubborn, they can often reappear so the treatment may need to be repeated. It is advisable to book a patch test for this treatment.
