Gel Manicure

In a gel manicure, the nails are first prepared by trimming, shaping, and buffing. The eponychium is pushed back, dead cuticle is removed and the nails are cleansed to remove any oils or residue. A base coat of gel polish is then applied and cured under the lamp. This is followed by two or three coats of colored gel polish, with each coat being cured under the lamp. Finally, a top coat is applied and cured to seal the color and add shine.
