•• Vaccinations •• No vaccinations required UNLESS a dog is a bite hazard. If a dog is a Bite Hazard, then proof of Rabies Vaccination is required. •• Cancellation Policy •• Clients can cancel any time prior to their booked appointment. •• No-Shows •• * First time: 10 minutes: Appointment Reminder Text is sent. 20 minutes: Client is considered a No-Show. * Second / Following time(s): 5 minutes: Appointment Reminder Text is sent. 10 minutes: Client is considered a No-Show. *Client will receive a text message, informing them that they will need to reschedule their appointment.* •• Booking Deposit Fee •• Each grooming service over $30 holds a Non-Refundable Booking Deposit Fee. The Booking fee is to hold your appointment, and will be applied to your Service Total. If a client cancels their appointment, without rescheduling, or is a No-Show, they will not be refunded their deposit fee. If a client needs to reschedule their appointment, their deposit fee will go towards their rescheduled appointment time, and they will not have to pay a second deposit fee. •• Dog Transportation •• Clients within a 15 mile radius have access to Dog Transportation, where the groomer transports a dog to and from their appointment. Transport Fee : $0.75 cents Per Mile ••• Agreements ••• In case of emergency, I hereby authorize this grooming establishment to receive veterinarian care for my pet at my expense, I agree to pay all costs incurred during this process and I agree not to hold this establishment responsible for accident or injury to my pet. •• Matting •• The client understands that severe matting can cause skin irritation, nicks, cuts, or abrasions during the removal process. The client understands that de-matting is a tedious process, and may take several hours. Removing mats will incur a service charge, based on the time and difficulty of the process. •• Shaving Double Coats •• The client understands that shaving a dog with a double coat can destroy the dog’s natural insulation, causing overheating in summer and cold issues in winter, exposes skin to sunburn/insects, disrupts coat growth (leading to patchy, fuzzy, or altered texture/color, known as "shave shock"), and removes natural waterproofing, creating long-term coat damage that often requires continuous shaving to maintain an even look. Shaving double coats also puts more wear & tear on tools and will include a fee of $5 per double-coated dog. •• Ear Plucking •• Client understands that ear plucking can cause pain, inflammation, increased risk of infection, microscopic tears in ear canal tissue, and abnormal tissue changes in ear canal. Ear plucking is Only recommended when: Recommended by a veterinarian, and/or hair significantly blocks airflow or traps moisture/debris in specific breeds (poodle, doodle, etc). •• Payment •• Payment due at time of service.
