Policy and Terms

🚨🚨🚨*DO NOT SKIP, PLEASE READ*🚨🚨🚨 Thank you so much for booking! You can bring 3 guests. Must be able to handle stairs (about 4 medium flights). Snacks and drinks available for $1-$5. Water is free. (Vending machine on site.) 15 minute grace period is extended DEPENDING ON the time of your session, and if others are after yours. Arriving later than 15 minutes to your session does NOT permit extended time. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. All mix & master sessions, effects/sounds and stems are owned by Mellow Sounds Studio. Respect the engineer. 420 friendly, but no smoking in the studio. Smoking area is across the hall. (Vaping allowed indoors). Alcohol is permitted, but if anyone is too drunk and/or acting belligerent, they will be told to leave. You break something, you buy it. Treat this space the way you’d want others to treat yours.

Session with No Engineer

Come in to use the studio space to work by yourself, with your artist(s) or bring in your own engineer. KD will sit in the session. Plug & play.

1 h | $30

Record or Mix Session (Not Both)

2 hour minimum. Come in and record or your tracks. Dry mixes and stems are provided in a recording session. Or you can use this as a mixing session with full mixes/stems included! Mixing by KD the Mellow Soul. (Turnaround time varies).

1 h | $35

Record with Mixing

2 hr minimum. Come in and record your next hits! Mixes are given at the end of the session or up to 24-72 hours later. 2 hours = mixing included for 2 songs 3 hours = mixing included for 3 songs 4 hours = mixing included for 4 songs 5 hours = mixing included for 5 songs 6 hours = mixing included for 8 songs

8-Hour Block

Spend 8 hours recording and mixing. Mixes are given at the end of the session or up to 24-72 hours later. (30 min break given halfway through the session).

8 h | $300

10-Hour Block

Spend 10 hours recording and mixing! Must book at least 2 days in advance. Mixes are given at the end of the session or up to 24-72 hours later. Mixing free for 8 songs. Additional payment required for more than 8 songs. (45 min break given halfway through the session).

10 h | $380

Mastering

Get your tracks mastered to perfection by Anthony Aguilar over at Set The Tone Records through Mellow Sounds! Turnaround time is 24-28 hours. (The hours you select will be considered how many songs you need mastered; 1 hour = 1 song).

2-Track Mix & Master

Get your 2-track mixes streaming-ready by KD! Beat+Lead Vocal+Adlibs+Double. (The hours you select will be considered how many songs you need mixed; 1 hour = 1 song).

1 h | $60

Full Stems Mix & Master

Send your stems to KD and get a quote back within 30-60 minutes! Once a quote is agreed upon, mixing will take place. (The hours you select will be considered how many songs you need mixed; 1 hour = 1 song).
