To ensure a smooth, professional, and efficient experience for all clients, please review the following policies before booking your appointment.

Appointment & Retainer Policy  

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure all appointments.  
Appointments are not confirmed until the retainer has been received.  

The remaining balance is due at or before the time of service. Accepted payment methods will be provided at the time of booking.

Cancellation & Rescheduling  

Clients may reschedule their appointment once with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.  

Same-day cancellations, missed appointments, or failure to be present at the scheduled time will result in forfeiture of the retainer.

Mobile Service & Travel Fees  

I provide mobile notary services throughout Cincinnati and surrounding areas for your convenience.  

Travel fees may apply based on distance, time, and urgency. Additional fees may be charged for extended travel, last-minute requests, or after-hours appointments.

Identification Requirements  

All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the time of the appointment.  

Failure to provide proper identification will result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the retainer.

 Signer Awareness & Willingness  

All individuals signing documents must be willing, aware, and able to understand what they are signing.  

Services will be refused if a signer appears confused, coerced, or unable to communicate effectively.

Document Readiness  

All documents must be complete and ready for notarization at the time of the appointment.  

I do not prepare, review, or provide guidance on documents.

I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, explanations, or recommendations regarding any documents.

Right to Refuse Service  

I reserve the right to refuse service if:  
- Proper identification is not provided  
- Notarial requirements are not met  
- The environment is unsafe  
- The signer does not meet awareness or willingness standards

Late Arrival & Wait Time 

A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed.  

If you are late beyond this window, the appointment may be canceled or subject to additional fees.

Hospital & Care Facility Appointments
  
For appointments in hospitals, nursing homes, or care facilities, the signer must be alert, coherent, and able to communicate.  

Services will not be performed if the signer is unconscious, heavily medicated, or otherwise unable to demonstrate awareness.

• Travel to the correctional facility
• Coordination related to the jail marriage process
• Marriage license assistance and courthouse appearance, when required

Jail and courthouse requirements, approval processes, and scheduling may vary. All services are subject to confirmation and approval by the appropriate facility and county.
