Melody answered my questions and  I’m excited to start working with her  in training me with my dog’s reactive behavior. I’m feeling more hopeful that we can  together address and solve my Gracie’s reactive towards other dogs.

Melody Sunflower is a dog whisperer no matter what the issue is she can fix it! She is truly amazing. She’s got a great personality. She’s very down to earth and Dogs just fall in love with her at first sight!  She’s very insightful and gives you a lot of useful information and tools to work with to train your dog or to fix a habit that you want to break I would recommend her to anyone you will not be disappointed!!!!

Melody is amazing!  Each week we have a new issue to address with our 11 month golden retriever puppy, and she always has ideas to combat the behavior in a kind and effective way.   Melody's background knowledge is impressive. We have done large group sessions for puppy training and have not seen the positive behavior changes that we have seen right off the bat with Heel and Hound. We highly recommend Melody and our puppy loves and respects her, too!

Just sent my puppy off for board and train. Melody was great: very communicative and assuring. She told me she’s confident that I will see big changes in my pup. She was very clear in letting me know how things will go and promised to send many updates. She was on time to get my puppy and, right away, handled him like a pro. I’m very hopeful some of his puppy habits will be nipped in the bud. 

Melody is very informative and a pleasure to work with. Answered all our questions and helped us see a path to a great future with our new puppy.

Melody was great, she came out and did a thorough consultation with us to figure out the best course of action for one of my dogs. She was up front and honest and gave alot of detail when explaining things. Would recommend to anyone needing assistance with dog training

Great first session.  Melody not only explained the lesson for today very well but she was also able to help us understand Levi thinking process and how we should go about it in order to have success in training.

We really appreciate how much Melody maximized 1 hour of private training. We've learned so much so quickly and are very optimistic our dog will improve his behaviors. We love Melody's approach to training and after working together a few times we can tell she's very knowledgable and has a lot of experience dealing with a variety of dogs. Melody is an amazing dog (and people) trainer.  She has a wealth of information that she shares during sessions.  She not only trains dogs and their owners on standard commands and fun tricks, but also explains the way a dog thinks and the importance behind being thoughtful and purposeful in your interactions with your pup. Highly recommend!

Melody  was wonderful with her technique that in one hour, my 5 1/2 month puppy was able to calm down and behave well.She gave me instructions to follow, and I’m hoping to work on continuing her process. Very happy with her knowledge and training experience.

I can’t recommend Heel & Hound highly enough. We started training with Melody on our dog’s reactivity and have seen more improvement than we could have imagined after just three sessions. She equips dog owners with the skills and knowledge to be successful outside of our time with her. Melody is confident, transparent, and communicative in every part of the process. Her experience and compassion for all dogs is apparent and I am so grateful we found her.

George was our 5th dog so we thought we had training down.... we were not prepared for a field lab.  We were at the end of our wits when we found Heel and Hound. Now we have a happy dog and have Melody to thank for this!  Our vet said ongoing training for working dogs is so important.  George has done scent training and is currently training for the good citizen test.  Highly recommend Heel and Hound!!

It was a pleasure consulting with Melody about my concerns with our 8 month old bernedoodle. We start private sessions this week and even though he is super smart, he can use help with a few behavior issues. She comes with excellent recommendations.

Today was our last personal training with Melody. Chloe is leash reactive and today we took Chloe for a walk on the trail where we encountered numerous dogs.  Thanks to Melody's prior work with Chloe and her guidance with me, we had a very successful walk, something I never thought I'd be able to do.  Chloe's not cured yet, but she's on her way thanks to Melody.

We had our consult and first session with Melody.  She is truly the best.   We have noticed huge changes in just a few days for our puppy!

We struggled to find a trainer to work with our dogs.  Melody has done an amazing job.  My dogs can now loose leash walk and our home is so much happier.
