I agree that the groomer will not be held liable or responsible for irritation abrasion, patchiness or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin condition, or as a result of the process of grooming, de-matting, thinning, stripping, shaving or any other mishap caused by my non- disclosure of my pet’s medical condition or behaviour. If my pet attempts to bite grooming staff, a muzzle may be used or at the discretion of the groomer and treatment may stop & I will pay for all work done to that point. If I fail to collect my pet at the agreed time I will pay all extra costs due. If my pet harbours any parasites clear them at my expense. It was Bailey's first time at Helen's, he's a rescue dog , so no history to go by. I stayed through out and Helen was so gentle and took  things very slowly. , making sure Bailey was comfortable at all times. 
Will certainly go back. Just need  Bailey to get used to noises like a hair dryer

Helen was very patient with our little dog and give her a hair cut to tidy her up. Thankyou very much will definitely book in again before Christmas

Helen does such a fantastic job on my two springer spaniels. They are both nervous dogs and she is very patient with them. They always come home not only looking smart but smell amazing…….. until the next walk! 

Absolutely fantastic! I took my nervous old spaniel who was far too fluffy and it only took an hour for him to be back with me trimmed exactly down to how I wanted it! Very friendly service, affordable and great with nervous dogs!

The best we moved away and still bring the boys the 100 mile round trip down and back as she been doing them from puppy's now 11 years old they love Helen

Helen is really brilliant with our nervous spaniel- her kindness and skill make it a much happier experience! 

I recently took my 4 month old pup for her first groom . I was quite anxious because i diddnt know how my pup would react . But helen was apsolutly brilliant with her she made the experiance very pleasant for my pup and she felt at ease with her which is very important . And she looks apsolutly georgous . And as an extra bonus she loved her pick n mix treat pot to take home with her .

A brilliant experience for our rehomed 10 year old Cairn terrier cross Bertie. Helen was welcoming & gentle, taking the time to check what we wanted whilst putting Bertie at ease. It was a great comfort to stay with Bertie during the groom, which he settled into. It’s very reassuring to find such a gentle person as Helen who cares deeply that the dog being groomed isn’t stressed or anxious. If Bertie became worried then Helen stopped & moved on to doing another part of his body. Thank you.

My springer spaniel Poppy is a Nervous dog, as a rescue dog we have unfortunately had some bad luck with groomers and I was given the phone number of Scruffy to Fluffy and I cannot recommend them enough... Poppy was after about 10 minutes relaxed and had a beautiful cut and wash and we were very happy indeed..and the treats on offer were lovely...Thank-you so much for taking your time with Poppy....❤️

Lovely to see my spaniel looking tidy and trim after his haircut. Great that he wasn’t stressed and Helen was great with him. 

We have inherited my mum’s dogs and she is old has such long hair it’s unmanageable- now she has lovely short hair and will be able to enjoy the summer warmth without overheating!

Took my 17 year old for a trim and nails. Thought Helen was brilliant. Izzy doesn’t see or hear very well now so was a bit anxious. She was treated so very well just what an older lady needs.. of course she loves the treats.

The groomers that our dog normally goes  to let us down - and not for the first time - but Scruffy to Fluffy very kindly was able to give us an appointment before Christmas.   Our Cockapoo, Scamp, came out looking very smart with a lovely Christmas bandana.  The cut was just what we wanted.  Thank you so much.

Helen was really good with my highly strung dog. She wouldn't do any more than he could tolerate. She inspected his teeth and gave me advice on how to care for them.

Helen is amazing. We have used this service multiple times and every time she amazes me. She understands the dogs, is a lovely person and also does a lovely job.

Grooming session was excellent. Molly looks perfect after her pampering. Will be back the next time she needs attention.

I've taken my 7mo cocker spaniel for her first haircut and Helen was amazing with her. She let my pup settle in before going ahead with the groom, she even explained to me all the signs of stress to look out for in a dog and try to help them feel more relaxed.

RE the groom, Helen was professional and she has done exactly what I have asked her to do. Pup looks very smart and hopefully won't get too warm now in the hot weather.

Helen lets you stay with the dogs throughout the appointment, if you wish. She respectfully listens to the dogs as well as myself , uses 'natural' perfume free shampoo and detangling spray, no accidental cuts or clipper burns as we have unfortunately experienced elsewhere and generally does a great job!

I am amazed at Helen's skill and patience with my very timid rescue dog.   Helen has been gently building his confidence over the last year.  Initially he was very snappy,  suspicious and nervous of the whole experience. I’m a rescue sprocker who gets anxious very easily. I was in dire need of a hair cut. It was my first visit to Scruffy to Fluffy. Helen was very kind and patient and made sure I had a break if it felt a little much. I now look really handsome and younger! I would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. Helen practices consent based grooming so does not stress your animal out, but instead works with them building their confidence slowly groom after groom. When we first started with Helen our little girl was so nervous. Helen has worked so hard WITH her building trust and now she is so happy to have a full groom. 

Max loves going to see Helen and getting his haircut and a bath! We’ve been going to Helen for years, she’s brilliant with max and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Helen is always mindful of my dog, Bessie’s slight anxiety. She’s been going since she was a puppy and is always happy to see Helen. Love her look after the groom too. Would recommend for sure.

When bubbles comes in for a cut. Helen is always attentive and patient. I love the way she cuts her and the attention to detail. Helen really understands dogs and it’s nice to see bubbles building that trust with Helen. 

My dog percy has been coming to helen for 3 years now, he is anxious with being groomed but helen has been amazing with him, and now he actually doesnt mind it at all, shes worked her magic with him. She always goes above and beyond tk always do whats best for the dog:) 

My dog doesn’t take to grooming naturally, so I’m grateful for the calm perseverance every time we show up, as he always looks smarter when he left than when he arrived!
