1. Booking, Access, and Environment
• Service Location: The client must provide a safe, accessible, and legal working space (e.g., a private driveway, garage, or designated parking spot) with adequate room to open vehicle doors fully and maneuver equipment.
• Utilities: The client agrees to provide access to a working electrical outlet and an outdoor water spigot if required by your specific mobile setup (unless running on a fully self-contained rig).
• Vehicle Access & Keys: The client must provide the keys/fobs at the scheduled start time and grant permission to operate, move, or start the vehicle as necessary for the detailing process (such as moving it into the shade or testing electronics).
2. Pricing, Condition, and Extra Fees
• Condition Surcharges: Standard quotes assume a normal level of dirt and wear. Excessively dirty vehicles (e.g., severe pet hair, heavy mud, biological waste, mold, or extreme staining) are subject to an heavy-soil or biohazard fee, assessed and agreed upon before work begins.
• Personal Belongings: Clients must remove all personal items, valuables, cash, and child safety seats from the vehicle prior to arrival. Black Tie Auto Detailing is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left inside the car.
3. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
• Notice Period: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 to 48 hours in advance.
• Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or a complete no-show when the technician arrives at the location will incur a fee.
4. Liability and Pre-Existing Damage
• Pre-Existing Damage: The technician will conduct a brief pre-inspection walk-around. [Business Name] is not responsible for pre-existing scratches, dents, Dings, worn trim, or loose paint/clear coat that become more visible after cleaning.
• Mechanical & Electrical Disclaimer: We are not liable for pre-existing mechanical failures, weak/dead batteries caused by keeping doors open during service, or malfunctioning electronics/dash lights.
• Insurance Limitation: Our liability is strictly limited to the total monetary amount paid for the specific detailing service rendered.
5. Satisfaction and Inspection
• Final Walk-Around: A final inspection must be completed with the client immediately upon completion of the service.
• Correction Policy: Any concerns or oversights must be pointed out during this final inspection so the technician can address them on the spot. Claims made after the technician has left the service location will not be honored.
