LOCAL CONTRAINDICATIONS: treatments cannot be performed over contraindicated areas, or a waiting time maybe required.
* Cuts/Abrasions (area can be avoided or wait until healed)
* Scar tissue on the area to be treated (6 months minor operation, 2 years major operation)
* Bruising/Swelling (wait until it has gone down)
* Oral Roaccutane Medication (wait 6 months after finishing)
* Sunburn / heat rash (wait until cleared)• Recent facial fractures (3 months)
* Active Skin Infections: Including but not exclusively Cold sores, impetigo, ringworm (wait until the infection has cleared)
* Flare up of eczema or dermatitis
* Pregnancy or trying to become pregnant: While most facials are safe during pregnancy, some ingredients like retinoids, salicylic acid, and certain essential oils should be avoided.
* Breastfeeding /Chemotherapy/Radiotherapy/Contagious diseases (Flu, covid) visible rashes, sores, lesions
* Under the Influence of (alcohol, drugs, prescribed pain medication)
