To help us run smoothly and fairly for all clients, please take a moment to review our appointment policies: Cancellations & Rescheduling You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment with no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment fee will be charged. Less than 24 hours’ notice: Full payment (100%) is required. This ensures we have enough time to fill your slot if needed. Frequent rescheduling and/or cancelling will require a non refundable booking fee to be paid to secure future appointments. Overgrowth Fees Rescheduling outside of your pet’s agreed grooming cycle (typically 6-8 weeks) may result in an overgrowth fee, as extra time and care may be needed for their groom. Late Arrivals If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and the full fee will be charged. Appointments are booked back-to-back, and we’re unable to accommodate extended holding times. Matted Coats In cases of severe matting, I may need to shave the coat in line with the Animal Welfare Act, to avoid unnecessary pain or distress. Owners must sign a consent form before shaving. A £15 fee will be added to the grooming cost. Please note, shaving so close to the skin may increase the risk of skin nicks, and dogs may need time to adjust to their new coat. Fleas Dogs with fleas will not be accepted. If fleas are found during the groom, an additional charge will apply to cover salon cleaning and lost business due to closure for treatment. Before Your Appointment Please ensure your dog is on a lead when arriving and has been toileted beforehand. Dogs must be fit, healthy, and up to date on vaccinations. Dogs showing signs of illness, in season, or pregnant should not attend their appointment. Health & Veterinary Care Grooming of elderly or unwell dogs is done entirely at the owner's risk. If your pet’s condition raises concern during the groom, you consent to me seeking veterinary advice at your expense. I cannot be held responsible for any underlying skin or health issues that may be uncovered during grooming. Behavioural & Safety Considerations I will not be held liable for grooming outcomes or mishaps related to behavioural issues. Dogs displaying aggressive behaviour may be muzzled or the groom may be terminated for safety. If your pet requires additional time due to behaviour an extra fee will apply. Data Protection Client contact details are stored in line with GDPR regulations and used solely for communication regarding bookings, reminders, emergencies, and offers. Payments Payment is required on collection either by cash or card.
