Nail Aftercare – BIAB & Acrylics

To keep your nails looking fresh and lasting as long as possible, please follow these aftercare tips:
First 24–48 Hours
• Avoid excessive heat (hot baths, saunas, steam rooms) as this can affect the product while it fully settles.
• Be gentle with your nails — they are strong, but not indestructible.

Daily Care
• Use cuticle oil daily (ideally 1–2 times a day) to keep your cuticles hydrated and your nails flexible. This helps prevent lifting and breakage.
• Apply hand cream regularly to keep your hands and skin healthy.
• Wear gloves when cleaning, washing up, or using chemicals to protect your nails and cuticles.
What to Avoid
• Do not use your nails as tools (opening cans, scraping labels, etc.).
• Avoid picking, peeling, or biting your nails or the product — this can cause damage to your natural nails.
• Do not attempt to remove BIAB or acrylics yourself. Incorrect removal can seriously damage your natural nails.

Maintenance
• Book infills or removals every 2–3 weeks (or as advised) to keep your nails looking their best and to maintain nail health.
• If you notice any lifting, cracks, or issues, please message me as soon as possible so it can be checked and fixed.
Breakages & Repairs
• Nails can break due to impact or misuse — please be mindful of how you use your hands.
• Any breakages or damage should be reported as soon as possible.
Looking after your nails properly will help them last longer, look better, and keep your natural nails healthy

Booking Policy

Deposits & Payments
• All appointments require a £10 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
• Without a deposit, your appointment will not be booked or confirmed.
• The remaining balance can be paid in cash or via bank transfer on the day of your appointment.
• Appointments booked from 5:30pm onwards are classed as out-of-hours appointments and will incur an additional £5 charge.

Booking Accuracy & Add-Ons
• Appointments must be booked correctly, with all add-ons selected at the time of booking.
• I work back-to-back with clients, so I am unable to make changes or add services last minute.
• If the incorrect service is booked, your appointment may need to be rescheduled to allow the correct time.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must give at least 48 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit, and a new booking will require a new deposit.
• No-shows will be charged the full appointment fee and will not be able to book again in the future.

Late Arrivals
• Please allow yourself enough time to arrive on time, as I often work back-to-back with clients.
• A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
• Arrivals later than this may result in your appointment being cancelled or charged a late fee, depending on how late you are.

Plus Ones & Children
• No plus ones or children are permitted at appointments.
• This is an aesthetics clinic setting, and this policy is in place strictly for insurance purposes.

Infills & Product Policy
• I no longer offer infills.
• At each appointment, approximately 90% of the old BIAB is debulked, meaning the service takes the same amount of time and uses a similar amount of product as a fresh set.

Soak Off Requirement
• A full soak off is required every 5 sets at the maximum to maintain nail health.
• Appointments beyond this will not go ahead without a soak off being booked.
